Ocean – Orange Business Services is always listening to the international market and makes sure to anticipate its evolutions to propose offers at the cutting edge of technology.
The eco-driving module solves problems related to driver protection and fuel consumption management. It also enables you to do your part for the environment by engaging your teams on the road with environmentally responsible and sustainable driving.
The module also lets you set challenges for your teams. From their smartphones, drivers can monitor their rankings during the challenge and try to improve their driving to move up the table and achieve the target set.
This module is available in all countries where the Ocean solution is marketed and is included in the Geopack and Geopro offers.
Concerns about environment-related issues are fed into the Ocean roadmap so that it offers solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. This is the case with the “electric vehicle” module.
This is a fleet diagnostics tool that takes account of and analyses data including the different journey types and mileages of the company’s vehicles. This enables it to suggest which vehicles are eligible to switch to electric.
With a wealth of features for electric vehicle supervision, the Ocean solution enables fleet managers to find out a vehicle’s remaining range and plan the next charge, analyse its charging history, locate charging points, and much more besides.
This is an easily installed device for identifying which driver is on the road by means of a Dallas key. This option also makes vehicles more secure, since they can only be used by key holders. On request, the driver identifier can also be used to access the “anti-start” feature.
Two alternatives are available: either anti-start based on a timetable, where the fleet manager sets the times when the vehicle cannot be used; or anti-start to order, where the manager can immobilise the car remotely from the platform.
Where light utility vehicles are being used, this option can issue an alert in the vehicle when speeding occurs. The fleet manager controls the threshold and decides which limits must be met. Its purpose is to quickly change the behaviour of drivers who exceed the authorised speed limit.
Its volume level is set so that the driver is alerted but not startled. The buzzer stops once the vehicle is travelling within the speed limit again.
